Our entire range of European Double 140cm Oak bed frames are manufactured to order and can be customised to your exact requirements on request
All of our hand-made European Double Oak Bed Frames are manufactured in our workshop in London, UK. European Double bed vary in size compared to standard UK Double beds; the length is 100mm Longer (2000mm) and the width is 50mm wider than a UK double mattress.
Unlike other Retailer and Manufacture we offer all our bed frames with Various bed slat solution. This included Pine Bed Slats, Solid Beech Bed Slats and various Slatted bed bases with Beech Sprung Bed Slats.
All our European Double beds are suitable for 1400mm x 2000mm Mattresses.
European Double Bed frames will NOT have headboard attachment holes like standard UK sizes. You can use these beds with Wall Mounted headboards only.

What is the size difference between a European Double Bed and a UK Double Bed?+ -
A UK double Mattress typical measures approximately 135cm (4 feet 6”) in width and 190cm (6 feet 3”) in length, while a European double bed mattress 140cm (4 feet 7”) in width and 200cm (6 feet 6”) in length. This means that a European double bed is 5cm wider and 10cm longer.

Does your European Double bed Frames have fixing Holes for attaching a Headboard?+ -
In Europe, headboard struts are not commonly used, which is why our European Double bed frames do not come with fixing holes for attaching a headboard as standard. However, if you prefer to have fixings for a headboard on your European bed frame, we can accommodate this upon request. Please note that you would need to specify the exact location where you would like the fixings to be added, as there is no standard measurement for their placement in Europe. Our team will be happy to assist you in customizing your bed frame to meet your specific requirements
